We saw that this could take the models used in industry much further, and change the daily work of the energy professionals who use them. So we started Greenville Analytics.
The name refers to how connected today’s power systems are, the European one most of all. We believe in a green Europe that shares sustainable resources in an efficient and fair way.
A TU Delft spin-off. Between us we have spent years on optimization under uncertainty, machine learning and the practical business of running European energy system models.
Remco connects the models to our customers: what do decision makers in energy system need from advanced energy system models? He is a part-time associate professor at TU Delft and has spent his career working on electricity markets, weather forecasting and energy system modeling.
Ben builds Greenville’s technology: ultra-fast and accurate energy system models. Accelerated by AI and running on infrastructure that spreads a study across GPU and cloud compute instead of a single overnight machine.
Mathijs is a full professor at TU Delft, where he leads algorithmics research on planning and scheduling under uncertainty. As a scientific advisor on AI and algorithms at Greenville, he advises on our long-term technology development roadmap.
TU Delft students who build and test the platform with us.
